Theodore James Prahalis

Theodore James Prahalis joined the LJT Lawers team in 2024 and practices in the areas of taxation and business law. His practice focuses on tax and estate planning, corporate reorganizations, as well as advising on the purchase and sale of businesses.

He holds a Master's degree in Taxation from HEC Montréal and a Bachelor's degree in Law from the University of Ottawa. He began his career as a tax lawyer for a renowned law firm in Montreal, and continued as a tax specialist within an accounting firm. Throughout his career, he has had the opportunity to work with SMEs, non-profit organizations, public companies, and high net worth individuals, operating in various sectors. His roles as legal and tax advisor have enabled him to develop an excellent understanding of complex issues, enriched by his experience with a diverse clientele.
