Me Pierre Brossoit practiced as a litigation lawyer for over 35 years. Today, he offers his services exclusively as a mediator or arbitrator, primarily in disputes related to commercial, construction, or real estate law. An accredited mediator and arbitrator with the Institut de médiation et d’arbitrage du Québec (IMAQ), he is regularly retained by law firms and corporate legal departments.

In 2018, he was appointed as one of 13 expert practitioners authorized by the IMAQ to render decisions on disputed claims made by contractors and subcontractors during the execution of construction contracts with the Government of Quebec. Since then, Pierre has issued several rulings on claims exceeding $750,000.

He also serves as an Ethics Commissioner. In this role, he advises and supports project owners in the preparation of calls for tenders, ensuring the impartiality of the decision-making process to certify fair treatment of all bidders to senior management.

Pierre is a member of the arbitration group Juste Décision (GAJD), which specializes in alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation and arbitration. He has frequently served as an arbitrator, either individually or as part of a three-member panel.
