Michel Turcot

Michel Turcot practices in business law, mainly with Quebec entrepreneurs and professionals. Over the years, he has been able to support business people in their growth and is increasingly dedicating his efforts in advising them in succession planning and inheritance.

He advises families on a daily basis on estate planning issues, particularly when they are international in scope.

He is also a distinguished educator. He was an associate professor in the Université de Montréal ‘s law faculty for over 20 years and in the Université de Sherbrooke’s master's in taxation program for over 10 years. He is a regular speaker for professional organizations, including the Association de planification fiscal et financière, the Chambre des notaires du Québec and the Institut de recherche et d’études notariales européen, and at McGill University.

He was also a member of the Board of Directors of the Chambre des notaires du Québec from 2005 to 2007 and a member of the advisory board with Revenu Québec on electronic services for professional representatives.
