Mathilde Leclerc

Mathilde Leclerc joined the firm in January 2025, becoming part of Me Christian Joly's team within the commercial law sector.

She initially developed expertise in corporate law, particularly during her Bar internship and at the beginning of her career. Later, she shifted her focus to commercial law, which now forms the core of her practice.

Before joining the firm, Mathilde gained significant experience at various insurance companies, working in the legal sector while studying. After her internship, she continued her career at a firm where she was a member of the business development committee for the Capitale-Nationale region. She later founded and led the business development committee for the Greater Montreal region at the same firm, a role she held until her departure.

Mathilde holds a Bachelor of Laws from Université Laval, completed in 2020. During her university years, she served as Vice President of External Affairs for the Faculty of Law's Business Law Club and volunteered at the Université Laval Legal Information Office. She also completed an internship with the Social Affairs Section of the Quebec Administrative Tribunal/Mental Health Review Board. After completing the École du Barreau du Québec in 2021, she was sworn in and has been a member of the Barreau du Québec since August 31, 2021.

Originally from Stoneham, Mathilde is passionate about outdoor adventures and travel. An avid skier, she also practices yoga and cycling, and has been running for several years. Having participated in several races, including half-marathons, she also served as the site coordinator for the Ultra Trail Harricana du Canada in Charlevoix.
