Marie-Anne Bédard joined LJT Avocats in 2018, where she works within the Taxation and Commercial Law team. Specializing in corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, as well as estate and post-mortem planning, she provides her clients with a pragmatic approach tailored to their specific needs. She primarily serves real estate owners and entrepreneurs, developing effective legal and tax solutions for them.

With an impressive academic background, including a diploma in taxation obtained in 2019, a master’s degree in taxation completed in 2024, a master’s degree in notarial law, and a bachelor’s degree in law —all from the Université de Sherbrooke— Marie-Anne combines rigor with a deep understanding of the complex issues her clients face. Her expertise enables her to offer customized solutions to optimize the management, transfer, and protection of family or corporate assets.

In addition to her role at LJT, Marie-Anne is a speaker and trainer for professional and financial organizations, presenting complex topics in a clear and accessible way. She has also taught taxation at the Université de Sherbrooke, sharing her experience with the next generation of professionals.
