Laura Pietrantonio

Admitted to the Quebec Bar in 2019 and to the Law Society of Ontario in 2020, Laura Pietrantonio holds a civil law degree from University of Ottawa and a Jurisdoctorate in North American common law from the Université de Montréal.

Prior to joining LJT Lawyers, she practiced for three years at Barrette Légal Inc., where she had the opportunity to develop her skills in civil and commercial litigation, commercial contract law, intellectual property law, and marketing law. Within this team, she was called upon to draft commercial contracts, including distribution and service contracts. She was also involved in litigation involving unfair competition and customer solicitation, breach of contract, shareholder remedies, and trademark and copyright infringement. Furthermore, she advised clients in the process of selecting and registering their trade-marks, as well as on issues related to their advertising contests.

At LJT Lawyers, she is practicing in communications and marketing law as well as in intellectual property, where she is called upon, among other things, to advise clients on the legal aspects of their promotional campaigns, particularly in the pharmaceutical field.
