Two of our lawyers in the communications law group received the "Lawyer of the Year" award from The Best Lawyers® in Canada.

This is a prestigious appointment since it is awarded to one lawyer per area of practice by region. The lawyers are selected following an evaluation by their peers in the same field.

Mr. Pierre Savoie has been recognized as "Lawyer of the Year" in advertising law for the Montréal region. He has been advising agencies and advertisers for over 20 years on the legality of advertising and promotional campaigns and frequently gives corporate training sessions on this subject.

Cindy Bélanger was also named "Lawyer of the Year" for the Montreal area, but in administrative and public law. The latter is frequently called upon to intervene for its clients in the advertising field with various administrative bodies such as the Office of Consumer Protection, the Office de la Langue Française, the liquor, lottery, racing and games as well as the Canadian Intellectual Property Office, just to name a few.

Inclusion in this list is thus a mark of trust and recognition on the part of legal actors.
