On January 30, LJT Lawyers announced that the five lawyers of Papineau Lawyers, specialized in co-ownership law, joined its team.

"Their expertise helps to achieve our real estate and construction law practices," explains Mtre Christian Joly, managing partner of LJT Lawyers. For its part, Papineau Avocats is integrating a larger firm, which will allow them to better promote its services.

The discussions lasted about eight months. Once the merger is complete, the challenge remains to ensure that the teams do not work in silos. LJT Lawyers has planned an original approach to achieve this. "Rather than grouping each practice in their own space, we have mixed them," says** Christian Joly**.
