Marjolaine Gagnon and Roxane Colpron discuss social networks as part of a CBA conference
The presence of advertisers on social networks has become inevitable and one can not deny the interest of marketing teams for advertising and promotional campaigns on these constantly evolving platforms.
On October 20, 2011, from noon to 2 p.m., Marjolaine Gagnon and Roxane Colpron will give a conference entitiled "Social Networks: Advertisers, Like but Beware!" presented by the Canadian Bar Association. They will address the multiple challenges faced by advertisers, mainly relating to Facebook and Twitter, in particular regarding the organization of contests and promotions compliant with applicable laws as well as regarding the different changing rules of these communities, the protection of their trademarks and the use the social networks’ trademarks, use of content posted by users and respect of their privacy.
